+ Being in transition is being in an "in between" state. 

The liminal space is the unknown, the boundary, or the threshold which occurs in times of transition. This space can feel uncomfortable, awkward, cause anxiety, feel overwhelming, or chaotic. What I have observed, is when you are this space, your mind tends to takes over in order to  figure out the fastest way to avoid losing control and becoming overwhelmed by emotions. It's like an override switch, becoming distracted by thoughts instead of experiencing the emotions involved during this important time of transition.
