Online therapy in California, Illinois & New York — In-person in Ventura, CA
If you’ve made it this far, something in you is ready.
We start with a free 15-minute consultation, no pressure, no commitment. Just a real conversation to see if working together feels right. If it does, we go from there.
“I wasn’t sure about starting therapy, but from the first consultation I felt understood. Working with Arati helped me get out of my head and feel more grounded in a way I didn’t think was possible.”

Therapy Fees
Individual Therapy — 50 minutes: $225
Many clients use out-of-network benefits to reduce therapy costs, and I’ll help you understand your options. I work with insurance more than most private-pay therapists. If you have an insurance plan through Cigna, Anthem, Aetna, United, or BCBS, an out-of-network exception may allow your insurance to cover a significant portion of sessions, and I handle the billing when that goes through. For plans where an exception isn’t available, I provide monthly superbills for self-submission. HSA and FSA cards are accepted.

Common Questions About Getting Started
How soon can I start?
Typically within 1–2 weeks. The fastest way to check current availability is to schedule a consultation.
What if I’m not sure we’re a fit?
That’s exactly what the consultation is for. No pressure, no commitment. If I’m not the right fit, I’ll do my best to point you toward someone who is.
What if I’m not ready?
Most people feel that way at first. You don’t need to have it figured out, you just need to take one small step. The consultation is that step.
Do you accept insurance?
It depends on your plan. If you have a plan through Cigna, Anthem, Aetna, or BCBS, an out-of-network exception may mean your insurance covers a meaningful portion of sessions — and I handle the billing on my end when that’s approved. I also provide monthly superbills for plans where an exception isn’t available. HSA and FSA cards are accepted. Learn more about fees →
Are you currently accepting new clients?
Yes, I’m currently accepting new clients online in California, Illinois, and New York, and in person in Ventura, CA.
