I currently provide online counseling to individuals (young adults, adults, women, South Asians) who are residents of or located in the state of California and Illinois.

Benefits of online counseling:

Online counseling can be a great option for many people including but not limited to:

  • Busy professionals or students
  • People who travel often for work
  • People who have a chronic illness, chronic pain, or injuries
  • Have social anxiety or anxiety
  • New parents or busy parents
  • Introverts, Highly-sensitive persons

You can have the same results as in-person counseling but from the comfort of your own home, office, dorm, or hotel room (and in your pajamas too!)

Who is online counseling for?

During your initial consultation and assessment (first session), we will talk about your specific situation and goals and expectations for therapy. This will help me to figure out if you are a good fit for online therapy with me. If for some reason, it does not seem appropriate to work together online, I will provide you with some referrals to other great therapists that are more specialized in working with your particular situation and concerns.

*** Online therapy is not appropriate for individuals who are suffering from severe mental health issues or for emergencies. If you are struggling with severe depression, current addiction issues, or are suicidal, it is highly recommended that you attend in-person therapy sessions. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency or mental health emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. If you need referrals for crisis hotlines, please click here.***

How does it work?

Online counseling takes place over a HIPPA compliant video platform that is secure and confidential (looks and feels just like Zoom).
